Imagine no longer having to guess what questions to ask your clients to get the kind of messaging that will attract more of your dream wedding clients. Sounds amazing, right? Well, I’m here to show you exactly how easy it can be to create messaging that speaks directly to the clients you want to work with!
Let me backtrack a little.
When I was a wedding photographer, something incredible happened—I had potential clients quoting my website and marketing materials during consultation calls. Here are just a few examples:
- “I want a photographer who is good with logistics and art.” (quoting my About Page)
- “When will we get to see the wall art and albums?” (quoting my in-person sales process)
- “We want a photographer who is thoughtful and detail-oriented.” (quoting client reviews)
These weren’t just flattering words—they were exactly why I got hired over and over again at $5K, $8K, $10K+. My messaging stood out because I was using the exact words of my dream clients, and it created a deep connection between what they were looking for and what I offered.
And you can do the same. 💫
Step 1: Market Research—Ask the Right Questions
If you want to attract more of your dream clients, you need to start by listening to the ones you already have. This is a practice I encourage for all of my clients inside Success Accelerator Program.
Here’s a simple exercise: Think about your best clients—the ones you wish you could clone. Now, reach out to them and ask these key questions to better understand their experience with you and what drew them to your business.
Here are a few powerful questions to ask your Dreamy Clients:
Step 2: Turn Their Words Into Your Messaging
Once you’ve gathered this information, it’s time to put it to use. Here’s how:
- Update your website: Use their language in your About Page, Services Page, and even on your homepage.
- Enhance your social media content: Share client testimonials, quotes, and stories that reflect the reasons your dream clients hired you.
- Create blog posts: Turn their feedback into blog content. Write posts like, “5 Reasons Couples Choose Me as Their Wedding Photographer” or “How My Process Helps You Enjoy Your Wedding Day Stress-Free.”
Step 3: Master Your Messaging—Consistent, Clear, and Client-Focused
Now that you’ve done the research and tailored your messaging, you’re ready to step into your next level. But if you’re wondering how to take things even further, I’ve got you covered.
Here’s what’s next:
- 💸 Master the mindset tools to help you grow and sustain your wedding business.
- 💸 Streamline your business by focusing on tasks that actually move the needle.
- 💸 Position your offers in a way that leads to consistent bookings, year-round.
- 💸 Become sought-after by planners, vendors, and—most importantly—your dream clients.
If you’re ready to elevate your business and learn more about how to use this messaging effectively, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
You’ve got this!
