Over the years, I picked up little tips and tricks for creating better detail photographs for my wedding clients. Planners would reach out to me because of my details photos, and I had many wedding clients hire me who told me it was because of my details photos. It that important that you elevate this part of your repertoire of skills if you want to charge more as a wedding photographer.
In 2020, I made a list of all the items I wanted to have in my styling kit and started purchasing an picking up the items. I started accumulating ribbon, ring boxes, and other items and decided it was time to get organized. I now have a complete kit that went with me to every wedding including our destination events!
Inside the Masterclass Vault, you get access to my Styling Kit Essentials list with links to my favorite styling pieces and an explanation of why I used those items. You can buy the Masterclass Vault HERE.
If you want to create images like the one above, you’ll need to start your own styling kit bag.
I suggest having these key items and then adding on from there:
- Styling Mats/Boards. I personally use Heirloom Bindery Boards.
- Canvas Bag to carry and organize everything. I like this one.
- Acrylic Blocks. No need to buy expensive ones. These do the trick.
When you buy through our links, we may earn money from our affiliate partners.
I’d love to hear how your styling kit is coming together! Leave me a comment and tell me what is in your dream styling kit.
